Blog Review

Blog Review
I really much enjoyed her poem. It was very powerful and said a lot in very few words. The last line is blowing me away ''Evermore, evernever, Remember.''

The quotes she had was really good and made me chuckle and appreciate life at the same time. The quotes all fit well together and sums it pretty much up.

We all miss Ali, and this fits perfectly to describe what we all think. It is really soar yet filled with hope. I only wish she could read it.

Christmas feeling

I choose to write about the christmas feeling because I had my first feeling of the season this weekend and just had to put it down in word as I had a really hard time explaining the feeling.

Christmas feeling is that very unexplainable feeling you have around christmas times. It is that calm feeling of everyone being nice and for once act for the better for others rather than yourself. It is that beautiful feeling sparkled by the spirit of loving your neighbor, of staying together and spending time with your family and for once prioritize them a head of everything else that usually goes on. It is that very feeling that turns materialism into to moral and make you spend money on a plane ticket to forgotten family members instead of on a new 50' flatscreen tv. Christmas is what makes you realize that everyone try to be nice people and makes you forget about their negative sides just by the sound of jingle bells, the sight of christmas lights or even the taste of eggnog. Christmas feeling is the feeling of standing united, acting for someone else and making the world a better place just over the few weeks of christmas.

Gratitude

Gratitude

I chose to write about gratitude by presenting Juneau as I see it because people keep asking me if I got disappointed coming to Juneau. People that live here seem to take all this for granted which is a shame as we live in on of the worlds coolest places.

Look!
Open your eyes and look around you.
Have you ever noticed the beauty of the nature
that surrounds you at all time. Do you ever think about the stunning spruce covered hill sides or the great alpine areas inhabited by the many mountain goats. What about the sparkling white mountain peaks with swirling eagles at every sight. Have you ever thought about the fact that very few places are you living just a short hike from an amazing ice caves. What about the big variety at eagle crest? Ever been amazed by the jumping whales or the busy porcupines you see everywhere? How about the fact the few places are you this close to get mauled by a bear while fishing for salmon? We should all be grateful for the stunning nature and wildlife we take for granted all the time. We are living in on of very few places that offers this at the same time as you can have malls and big shopping places like Fred Meyers. We should be grateful for what we have instead of long for what we don't have.

Remember

Remember that you live. After all you only live once. This one time and this one shot is all we have. People say live the life to the fullest, but I say instead that you should enjoy life. You do not necessarily need to do all sort of stuff and stress to enjoy life to the fullest as the statement states. Chase your dream, sure, but enjoy life nevertheless. You do not need to go to Africa or Australia to enjoy life. Wherever you are just now reading this, whether you are in Thailand or in south of France, enjoy your life, be grateful for the opportunity you have to enjoy it. Sure there are probably worries and problems that you might want to worry about, but why use your energy on that when you can lean back and think ''I live and I am happy for it." How does worrying change anything other than the stress you put on yourself. You can do most things without worry and without stressing at all. Just be happy for this life you have. Remember that you live.
